project is the brainchild of my wife, "Imp" Mason.  She wants to see what will happen if we paint normal, every day women as the goddess of their choice. How will that make them feel?  What changes will it make in their day to day lives?  In their self-esteem?

The hope is to produce a variety of goddesses, from a variety of women, and to document the whole process as an insight into how women view themselves.   We are shooting for a 2009 Gallery opening, are seeking funding (anyone got an Art grant floating around?) and or creative partners (are you an independent film maker?), and still accepting models.  We are especially seeking models in the over 70 age range.  

So if you want to reveal your inner Goddess, send an e-mail with a brief bio of yourself, the Goddess of your choice and why you chose her.

From an artistic perspective this is not an easy task.  I am loving the challenge.

"Mouse" is 23.   She is one of the strongest and still sweetest people I know.  She has overcome many personal demons to create her happiness. Durga is the Hindu Warrior and Demon Slayer Goddess - mother of Kali.
